People with Cardinal Signs tend to be initiators (as all the Signs in it corrospond with the begining of the seasons), people who are the first or who start something. Fire is representative of will, spirit, and life. It's very concerned with some of the emotions that easily show on the outside, such as enthusiasm, happiness, humor, and anger. But anything subtle is lost on them, and so deeper emotions like love and sadness are not a priority. Fire signs often have a spectacular sence of identity.
Aries is the sign most likley to start something. Their Cardinal modality is part of it, but Aries also starts the evolution of the zodiac, birth. They also have the best sence of self. As for Mars itself, it's the planet named after the god of war. And it acts like it. The reason Aries is so interested in individuality, is that Mars loves differences. So it can fight with people it doesn't agree with. It's also quick to act, and the people under it tend to act on instinct, be quick, and even be rash. Mars' humans are the best warriors, though.

Raye is an a-typical form of the names Ray and Rae, the first being male, the later female. Ray means "wise" in Teutonic, and Rae can also mean wise, but also means "a doe" in Teutonic.
~Birthstone and Birth Flower~
Raye's birthstone is the diamond. Ancient Indians (not Native Americans, Indians as in people from India) believed they were spinters of the stars, hardened dew droplets, and crystalized lightning. Diamonds are the hardest substance known to man, and the name diamond comes from the Greek word "adamas" meaning unconquerable.
